We loved the idea of the griddle on our GE stove however it scratches so easily (and you cannot purchase another of that griddle) that I felt I had to buy some kind of replacement. This was the best and only affordable option. It works great, far more substantial that the griddle it came with.

I ordered this as a replacement for the center griddle on GE gas range JGBS66REKSS. I have a cast iron griddle already and did not need the aluminum one that shipped with the stove. This fits perfectly, and completes the factory look. Very happy with the purchase.

I am amazed at how much better my stove looks with this grate. The entire stove is a lot more functional for us with this grate instead of the flat top/griddle. I was really only using the it as a hot plate anyway. Wish I had thought about looking for this part when I first got the stove!

Item arrived with a crack across the grate in the corner. Box was not damaged so it is either poor packing or poor Quality Control and shipping a bad part. What's worse is upon filing a Return and stating product arrived broken, I have to pay the shipping back for their incompetence. Lovely GE!

I bought this grate to replace the griddle that came with my new stove. The quality of the grate is excellent and the color and texture of the grate is an excellent match to the grates that are already on the stove. I would have given this grate an overall rating of 5 if the tines/spokes of this grate weren't of a different style from the grates that came with the stove. The stove is brand new and I used the GE website to find all of the accessories related to the stove; this grate was the only accessory listed so I thought it would be an exact match. The new grate has tapered tines/spokes and the grates that came with the stove have squared off tines/spokes. I would have given this grate a 5 rating if the tines/spokes were an exact match to the ones already on the stove. If such a thing exists, I would like to be pointed to it!

We bought this to leave on our oven full time over keeping the griddle on full time. The griddle coating scrapes easily when you have a bigger pan come out of the oven. The only negative was the shipping experience. GE told me it would ship in 2 to 7 business days. I called after 9 and was told it was on backorder, but it would be in in a week. Three phone calls to check status and one month later, it finally showed up.

I love that I had the option to buy the center grate for my gas stove. My gas range came with the griddle, but I love the fact that I can add the extra grate for more cooking space, especially around the holidays.

Product is 5 stars since it fits JGB735SP1SS perfectly, but I wish it was included with the oven as an option instead me having to seek this out separately when the teflon griddle it came with started flaking within a few weeks of purchasing the new oven. (Which we only used twice, did not use any metal utensils, and only washed it by hand with a soft sponge.)

I love The Griddle except the edges are not tall enough to stop scrambled eggs( 2 eggs) from going over. I use it in place of all my cast irons ,easy cleanup, does
scratch easily. I like that the burners come apart and can be completely cleaned and at the grates are dishwasher safe. I don't like that it didn't come with a manual that I can have in the kitchen for reference

The grate functions well enough and it is nice to have actual continuous grates. The first one I ordered (from Lowe's) came broken in two pieces. I ordered the second one directly from GE and it arrived in one piece. It functions as it should.
